What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the many compounds found in the cannabis plant. CBD oil can be obtained from two different species of cannabinoids: marijuana and hemp. While marijuana-derived CBD products have a relatively high concentration of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), hemp based products have much lower levels, enabling them to be used without a prescription.

Why Use It?

CBD oil products have been found to have several benefits. They are known to cure various ailments in the human body. including but not limited to, reducing pain, soothing anxiety, improving mood, protecting the immune system, aiding sleep disorders, and healing the skin.

How To Use It?

According to AARP September 2019 issue, they recommend three things if you want to try CBD 1) Consult your doctor as there may be interactions with blood thinners, chemotherapy drugs and other medications. 2) Find a quality product. Go to the product’s website and look for information about third-party testing for purity, safety and CBD and THC levels. 3) Start small. Try a low daily dose of CBD for several days before making any decisions about increasing the amount you use
