CBD Meets B&B: How CBD is Entering the Hotel Industry

As CBD has become a fixture in the wellness industry, it should be no surprise that hotels across the US have started to hop on the bandwagon.  From unique spa packages to cocktail enhancements, hotels are starting to incorporate CBD into their offerings, to deliver ultimate wellness and relaxation. Here, we outline a few offerings you might encounter on your next stay.

Spa Packages

Due to its array of healing benefits, luxury hotels have started incorporating CBD into their spa offerings. 

For example, The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island in Florida recently announced its CBD Relief and Recovery offering which includes a CBD consultation, a 50-minute CBD massage, and a CBD-infused bath. At the Edgewood Tahoe Resort, massage specialists use CBD to target pressure points and alleviate tension, leaving you with a lasting sense of relaxation.

CBD Turndown Service

Other hotels have made their stays even sweeter by incorporating CBD into their turndown service. 

Freehand Hotels teamed up with Highline Wellness to offer complimentary CBD gummies at its four U.S. locations in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and Chicago. Guests who choose to opt-in for this new amenity during check-in will receive a free sample-sized bottle each night with three or four of the brand’s best-selling CBD Night Gummies. 

Another hotel company, The Standard, partnered with CBD brand Lord Jones to create limited-edition CBD gummies exclusively for their mini-bars at their Miami Beach property with plans to expand to their Hollywood property. 

Cocktails

Hotels have also been leveling up their bar service by adding CBD to their hotel bar menus. 

In Portland, Oregon, Jupiter Next will add a flavored CBD shot to any coffee order at its in-house café. The Nickel, inside Denver’s  Hotel Teatro, laces its White Russians with CBD-infused pepper-and-turmeric oil. Also in Colorado, the St. Julien in Boulder wraps up some of its spa packages with a relaxing cup of CBD tea.
